Hand-drawn and painted watercolor map illustrations of pertinent locations for the book “Pure Grit: How American World War II Nurses Survived Battle and Prison Camp in the Pacific”, by Mary Cronk Farrell.

Careful research was done to be sure the sites were depicted as they would have appeared during WWII, and each map was drawn to scale.
