Project: “Freeland” typeface- examples of use

“Freeland” was released in April of 2015, and didn’t leave the MyFonts bestsellers charts until over a year later. MyFonts named it a “Most Popular Font of 2015", and it was featured on several “Best Typefaces” lists by design and type professionals.

This bold, inky script leans a bit more masculine/ gender-neutral than most script fonts. “Freeland” became the signature typeface of both Tarte and Urban Decay cosmetics, and was used in major ad campaigns for H&M, Starbucks, Kay Jewelers, and to launch the beloved French cookware brand Le Creuset’s new Indigo colorway. It can still be seen frequently on bookstore shelves, advertisements, displays, and products galore.
